I received this email from a user of the page and I am publishing his method for removing the LibertySurf advertising banner. - Thanks to N.F. for this info.
Please note, should you try this, it is entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK, and you might like to check with X-Stream/LibertySurf first.

I signed up to LibertySurf, and although fast, the connect times are a bit
too much.
I was also pi**ed off with the ad banner so, you can publish this on your
site for all the LibertySurf customers:
(it may need to be a bit more explicit, but you get the idea. It's a prog
that detects all dialups to the phone no., and pops the ad bar up - even if
you set up a DUN connection! I learned this from when X-Stream did it. [yes
it is the same software])
To Remove LibertSurf Ad Banner:

Run regedit
find the key:
HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN
and find, and delete the key that says 'Grdsys32'
Do the same for:
HKEY\CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN
Now, make a new dialup networking connection, with the number i and u/name
password in it. Use IE/Netscape/Opera as normal, and hey presto - no ad
banner!!
(and you can set it up for 99 redials so you don't need to keep pressing the
button!)
